On 9th October 2021 a group of twenty-two Old Birkonians who all left the School in 1976 got together for a meal and a catch-up at the Elixir restaurant in Oxton.  

The event was organised by Mark Chatterton and John Mitchell. Some had come from different parts of the country including Kent, Essex, Buckinghamshire, West Sussex, Cumbria, Yorkshire and South Glamorgan. The group hope to have another reunion meal in 2026 which be the 50th anniversary of their leaving Birkenhead School.    

Those who attended were:-  Jon Dagley, Robin Spencer, Anthony Gold, David Ivanoff, Howard Jones, Warwick Hosker, David Theobald, James Woo, Jeremy Pugh, Alan Morris, Peter Rowlands, Richard Meads, Roger Pemberton, Mark Ravenscroft, Simon Catherall, Trevor Williams, Simon Dobson, Peter Wilson, Mark Sedgwick, Ian Bakewell, John Mitchell and Mark Chatterton.
