The School’s annual cricket matches against the MCC, took place on the main School cricket field, on Wednesday 17th June.
The MCC are a team of adults, some of whom have played to a very high level, and consist of some of our Old Birkonian's, who play against current pupils. We saw a couple of familiar OB faces for the MCC team being Madeleine Arthur a 2020 leaver, and Andy Birley a 1995 leaver.

Over all the results were-
MCC batted first and scored
Birkenhead batted second and we scored 191/10.
Pupils Kai Jackson won the spirit of cricket award which the MCC hand out for his 44 runs and Shiv Malhotra also bowled well, 12 overs, 3 wickets for 53 runs.
