Wednesday 18th June saw another of the School’s annual cricket matches against the MCC, which took place on the main School cricket field.
The MCC are a team of adults, some of whom have played to a very high level, and consist of some of our Old Birkonian's, who play against current pupils.

It was a good game and a good challenge for the School’s current team on the day, over all the results were-
MCC got 178-6 declared with Birkenhead School being bowled out for 159.
Some of School’s team players included Teddy Groves, who was the pick of the bowlers with 2 for 31 off 8 overs, whilst Year 10 Shiv Malhotra bowled really well, 12 overs 1 wicket, 44 runs. Also, Krish Malhotra achieved 67 runs and Kai Jackson 31.
Included in the MCC team was OB Madeleine Arthur, a 2020 leaver. Madeleine will be touring with the MCC's International Team playing in Brazil in November, to which we wish her and the whole team the best of luck!
