It was pleasing to have another good turnout for the OBS Liverpool Business Lunch at Hawksmoor with a range of ages represented. Around a third of those who came were in the under 25s bracket which was fantastic to see and hopefully the benefits of attending were obvious to them. I witnessed some positive career related conversations so hopefully word will continue to spread about the advantages of coming along and mingling with OBs who are well established across a range of sectors and industries.

A number of stalwarts continue to support the lunches to catch up with established friends while also discovering if there are any potential business opportunities to harness within the Society.

The three pillars we are looking to build on as the foundations for the OBS are Social, Networking and Careers; the OBS Liverpool Business Lunch continues to tick the box for all three.
