Sports Personality Dinner - Friday 19th April 2024

Event details written by Director of Sport Mr Darryl Taylor.

We are holding our Annual Sports Personality Dinner here at Birkenhead School on Friday 19th April 2024.

This black-tie event traditionally raises funds to help our sports teams on their programme of summer tours. This year it is the turn of the Cricket 1st XI and Development XI who are travelling to Sri Lanka.

Many thanks the support the Old Birkonian Society has given to previous Sports Personality Dinners at Birkenhead School. It is our sincerest hope that you will once again be able to attend the dinner and offer your support.

This year we are pleased to announce former England Batsman and Captain Graham Gooch as guest speaker

As well as our guest speakers and a comedian, the evening will include a four-course meal, fundraising auction and our much loved 'Reverse Bingo'. We will also be operating two bars, serving wine, prosecco, beer and soft drinks. A summary of the evening is below-

I do hope you can join us.

Yours sincerely

Mr DJ Taylor (Director of Sport)
